Now when you consider that the main reason people don’t ski more is because they don’t have partners you have to wonder what is up with the hard core earn your turns types, like you and me. Does that mean we’re the friendliest skiers out there and we log that many days ‘cuz we exude a je ne sais quoi magnetism that attracts others to us all the time?

…it has a lot of solid, well done features like the buckle pocket, the waist belt & leg loop, vertical carry loops for your skis or a snowboard, a helmet sling, goggle pocket, and the best feature, zippered access from the inside back panel to the cavernous bottom of the pack and a separate compartment for the airbag hardware.

First we had to get past the steep opening pitch which rolled over and probably had a good meter of wind deposition on it. We both figured it could go, so I began with a ski cut just behind the crown.

March has arrived and is almost gone but finally the heavens are letting loose on the rains from above. It hasn’t been so much as to make up for lost moisture and for many of you it is too little too late. However, for core backcountry skiers at least, better late than never.

If you’ve been waiting for TTS to grow up a bit, it has. The chubby cable posts and ill fitting heel posts are more slender, functional, and adaptable. Equally importantly the heel lever got the nose job it needed to snap onto the heel step of any compatible boot. Weight matters. Power matters. Why carry more than you need to?
